Regattas

Alongside Sunday club racing, Northcote & Birkenhead Yacht Club hosts regattas through the summer on the sheltered waters off Birkenhead Point. These range from our own Anniversary Day regatta to regional and, in some years, national championships.

City of Sails Sprints

An evening keelboat series run jointly with the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron, with Etchells, MRX, Elliott 7 and Young 88 fleets racing off Birkenhead Point.

Anniversary Day regatta

Our own regatta, held each year on Auckland Anniversary weekend. Dates, the notice of race and results are posted on the sailing calendar.

Regional and national regattas

We host regional dinghy regattas, including Feva regattas, and in some years national championships. Visiting sailors are welcome. Each event has its own notice of race, linked from the sailing calendar.
