Club Sailing
Sunday afternoon racing and coached youth fleets at Birkenhead Point.
Sunday afternoons are club racing: friendly, informal multi-class dinghy racing on a sheltered stretch of the Waitematā. The senior fleet races each Sunday. Optimist and RS Feva sailors spend most of their time in coaching, and join the Sunday racing from time to time. The emphasis is on turning up, honing skills and having fun, not on a results board (although there is still plenty of competition on the water!)
